Oops, rookie error
Just started a sim of the 1990 MLB season as GM, and I forgot to select a ticket price for the ballclub. Nearly 42,000 people got to see the Phillies beat the Cubs at Veterans Stadium for free. Ouch. Growing pains, anyone?

Why wouldn't the ticket price automatically adjust to the average set in league setup?

I found, in one dreadful season where I forgot to adjust prices for Yankee Stadium when I drastically cut the league average, that it does not apply to the human-controlled team. Half of my fans went across town to Shea for their bargain basement ticket price!

i had an interesting error myself.

I was dominating my league, but my payroll was getting closer to the budget, so I wanted to raise ticket prices from $15 to $18. I know I am such an evil bastard.

Well, apparently I removed ever seat in the stadium and installed only luxury suites, because I accidentally raised the ticket price to $1800. I didn't notice this until my season ending review of my finances.

Still got 5,000 or so per game, and managed to make a profit, but I went from 1st to last in overall attendance. I was surprised anyone showed up.
