Triple A All-Star game

If I like to have the traditional Triple-A All-Star game between IL and PCL, do I have no other option than create ONE league, with two sub-leagues in it.

The quickstart has these leagues seperated and I can´t see how they can play an All-Star game against each other.

Please schedule makers do intruct if and how this can be done.

Getting the PCL and IL into the same Triple A League (historical such doesn´t exist, correct) gets into trouble with awarding Pacific Coast League Championship and International League Championship Titles with logos.

Kind of catch 22 problem..

Any help, solution

I'm pretty sure that an All-Star game can be scheduled only within a league, not between two leagues. Yes, you could construct a Triple A League with PCL and IL as subleagues and then have your All-Star game, but it appears you would not be happy otherwise with that solution because you would have to turn off playoffs so as to not have a Triple A champion. And the trouble with that is you would not have PCL nor IL champions either, given their own multi-division composition.

The only other thing that I can think of is a two-team league of PCL and IL all-stars that remains dormant and empty until you arbitrarily drag the players over to it to play the one game on their schedule, returning them to the PCL and IL after the game. Sounds like a lot of work for one game and, to tell you the truth, probably would create more problems setting it up than it's worth.

Thanks for your thoughts.
It looks like I have to stick with TWo Triple A league, indifference of each other. That will give me a PCL and IL champion, but no All-Star Game.
A matter of priorities then

What I miss in the terms of history is that one can obviously not switch minor league teams like in RL.

The realigment in the minors has been much more complexed than in the majors. I will try to set it up so that I can add nearly correct teams when expansions of MLB happens, 93, 98 or whenever

It very hard to get those minors in any clear order indeed. Very sad.

But there is a Triple-A championship. It's called the Bricktown Showdown and it's a one-game playoff between the PCL and IL champions. The first was held last year when Sacramento (PCL) defeated Richmond (IL) by a score of 7-1. The 2008 game was again won by Sacramento, who defeated Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 4-1.

That's good; maybe clamel can set up his Triple-A League with PCL and IL subleagues, enabling an all-star game, and set up a custom playoff system that determines the subleague winners who meet in a one-game Triple-A championship.

That was news .... I´m tempted than to put a playoff. Then the final series should be only 1 game.
Can this work ?? A 1 game Series . I will look into this.
