Equalized Settings.
Hey guys I asked this question in General Discussion earlier and I am guessing people got tired of answering my questions there since I now see I probably should have been asking them here.... or can I ask them there too? LOL well here is my question:
I read over 100-150 pages of that manual before I gave in and went to bed last night.... So I hope me not reading the rest of it wont affect me (Im sure many of you didnt read the whole thing did you? lol) Now another question is can I equalize cities? I dont want big market teams to always buy all the players they want and small market teams to never have a chance at anything.... or does this game not make the big markets sign EVERY single player possible and just put them in the minors...... An example in BBM.... sometimes lets say the Yankees can already have someone like Pujols, Ryan Howard and Adrian Gonzalez put one to start one in the bench and one in the minors... will this game not do that?<!-- / message --> |

Market size will have the most direct effect on media revenue but I think it also affects attendance and perhaps merchandising. Depending on your average media revenue setting (in League Setup), that alone could give a huge advantage to large market teams.
You could neutralize this in two ways. Set Media Contract Fixed? to Yes, Same Contract For Every Team is one. The other is to edit market sizes to all be the same in each team's Options & Ballpark page (you have to be the commissioner to do that, however). |
