Minor league report

A lot going on in this game for a noob, so hopefully I am not mistaken, but . . . .

I'd swear I saw a report with +/- indications of player development during the season. If I did, can someone tell me where to find it, cuz I sure can't.
Thanks

Its the Player Development Report, and you can find it by clicking the Reports tab within your team page and then choosing the report from the drop-down selector on the right-hand side of the page.

Sorry, I'm looking for the quick and dirty answer. Are these changes reflective of the 1-250 scale? If not, what scale are they based on?

Not 250, but rather whatever your settings are based on which to see ratings. Go to:

* Game menu
* Game setup
* Global setup

If the three settings for Player Actual Ratings Scale, Player Potential Ratings Scale and Other Player Ratings Scale are 1-20 (as mine are), you'll see changed based on a 20-scale.

Changes at the upper levels tend to be +1, +2 over a year and anything more/less is significant. At the lower levels, bigger + numbers are more common (hopefully) as low-level minor league players began the prior period with lower ratings.

For example, I just checked my Development Report and had a low-A pitcher go +13,+7,+5 for Stuff/Movement/Control changes (woohoo!)

But when I went to my global settings and changed the scale I see from 1-100 on those three menus, and went back to the Development Report, those numbers became +64, +36, +25 (and went I went back yet again and went to a 1-5 scale, all 3 were +1).

Each represents the same development, just varies on how much you want to allow yourself to see.

Thanks, Thunder. I wasn't aware those were dynamic and connected to personal scale. Much appreciated. That literally puts things in perspective.

No problem . . . Neither was I until I saw your question. But it's amazing what you can learn when your obsessed with a new toy.
