BZ 1906: One-pitch mode isn't working

I have the latest patch, and am using OOTP 9 on Ubuntu Linux. Whether I select the one pitch mode option or not, pitch-by-pitch mode is being used. I simply can not play this game that way, it puts me to sleep at the computer

Are you playing out a game or watching a replay?

I have a similar problem here, I assume. I'm running XP with the latest patched version of OOTP9.

If I play out a game, I can toggle between one-pitch mode and pitch-by-pitch mode. This works fine.

If I watch a game, live or replay, I can only watch in pitch-by-pitch mode. The toggles are still there, and they toggle one way or the other, but the one-pitch mode never works.

Just to verify, you get the long version of the play-by-play, and not the short version that simply displays the result of each at-bat?

Again to verify, you guys are using 9.1.6?

I thought I had this issue, then I realized it was the space bar that triggers one pitch mode. If you hit "continue", it's always pitch by pitch.

That fixes it, as strange as it sounds.

Version 9.1.6, long PBP or short PBP...

Clicking "Continue" always results in pitch-by-pitch mode. However, pressing the space bar results in one-pitch mode.

Markus states that this behavior is intentional.
