Why no Orioles/A's game on Sunday?

Just noticed there are only 6 AL games on Sunday, how odd is that? Oakland and Baltimore who play Friday and a double header on Saturday have off on Sunday.

Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy.

Ravens Stadium is literally right next door to Camden Yards and they're worried about supporting that type of crowd.

I'm sure the extra 1,200 people would make for a traffic nightmare.

I love the O's, but it's another Aug/Sep tailspin for them and not much reason to watch unless you want to sniff glue.

Well, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh held out the longest. These two cities were the last major league cities to start playing Sunday baseball at home. Pennsylvania repealed its Blue Law in time for the 1934 MLB season.

If you don't want to click on the linkage, it's because the Ravens play in Baltimore on Sunday and the O's and A's were given the chance to decide if they wanted to play a double-header on Saturday or play a game on Sunday night. They opted for the double-header.
