Fired my scout accidentally - HELP!!
First let me just say this - I'm a total idiot.
I'm playing the Dodgers and I'm in my first season with Cubby's outstanding roster set (June 8). About a week ago, I'm looking at other scouts and seeing how much better they are than mine (60/65/60/65 in scouting ratings with 20-80 scale). So, being used to Worldwide Soccer Manager/Champ Manager and taking a glimpse at the online manual, I fire my coach and prepare to make offers to the 80's of the world. Lo and behold I learn that I can't buy a great scout away from another team. Now I have to hire a HORRIBLE scout (45/40/45/45) who is just batsh** crazy (he's not sold on Evan Longoria). What can I do? Since it was a total accident, I'm willing to consider a work around (can I go in as a human on another team and fire their scout and make a huge offer to him back as the Dodgers?). Is there a possible solution short of me going into next week's draft with a total moron on my staff? Make that two, actually ![]() Thanks - Dave |

If you go into Commish mode you might be able to force him to be on your team. Not sure if that works with scouts as it does with players.

If nobody else has picked him up you could try offering him a contract. If no joy or he has signed with somebody else then try Kelric's solution and use the commish to fire/pick up contract. (You will have to use "act as" each team in turn if he has signed with another team).
