Hitting Pitchers

I just noticed i have a pitcher on my team who hits better than my 7th hitter!

Has anyone else noticed any good hitting pitchers, and how have they done?

In my solo historical league, Long Tom Hughes is the best on my team with a career BA of .253 with 2 HR's 24 Doubles 5 Triples 51 Runs Scored 65 RBI's in 514 AB's.

In RL Hughes was a career .198 hitter with 6 HR's 28 Doubles 15 Triples 98 Runs scored 79 RBI's in 958 career AB's.

There may be others that are this good, but I just knew he was good from being on my team.

In a solo league, Quinn Sanders hit .409 with 9 homers and 21 RBIs and pitched a 21-9 record with a 3.39 ERA in 2010... it happend to say that the team was the Colorado Rockies

I simmed a season using only pitchers from the mid-2002 roster set. San Diego's Brad Baker had a 31-game hit streak. Houston's Rodrigo Rosario led the league with 12 homeruns. But Aaron Fultz received the NL MVP with his .302, 4 HR, 39 RBI season.

That sounds interesting. What did you do, just manually remove all the hitters, or edit a file?

I may have to try that...
