Adding the all star game
Ok so I started a fictional league without an allstar game. I would like to add one but can't figure out how. Here is what I have done:
1. Go to the start of the preseason 2. Select Hold allstar game 3. auto schedule allstar game At this point nothing has happened so I generate a new schedule but nothing is scheduled. Any help would be great. |

You don't really need the "Auto schedule All-Star Game" option enabled. That is intended for use when importing a schedule file that doesn't have an All-Star Game and break in it. OOTP will then select the approximate mid-point of the schedule and then insert a three-day break with an All-Star Game on the middle day of the break.
You can try exporting the schedule file for the league and then opening it in Wordpad. Look at the info at the top of the file, specifically the allstar_game_day= line, where the number in quotes indicates the day number of the All-Star Game. If it's zero, then no All-Star Game is set. You can also use the schedule grid report to check and see if an All-Star break has been put into the schedule. Sometimes it's tricky to tell if the game has in fact generated a new schedule. Just changing the options won't necessarily generate a new one. |
