Facegen and Steroids

One of the things long term steroid use can do is cause abnormal head growth. So this got me thinking.

I took a photo of Barry Bonds as a minor leaguer facegenned it and then aged it. The result was a very different portrait than Mr. Bonds in his later years.

So then I did the same with Edgar Martinez who has not been linked to steroids AFAIK. He also was very different looking as an aged gent. Bondsian in fact.

So then I did Ken Griffey Jr. He wound up looking the way facegen expected him to as an oldie.

Small sample size and all but it makes me wonder..........
