adding another league.

Is it still not possible to add a league to an existing league?
Like the NL adding the AL.
I know there is somework around of having the AL as a minor league
and then doing some exporting but i dont remember exactly how it worked.
Would i lose any stats and records in the process?

As in add a sub-league?

That's possible. During the offseason, go to Game Setup, League Setup, choose your league and then click the Edit League Structure button and there should on that screen be an Add SubLeague button and then Add Division and Add teams buttons.

So i could start a MLB with only the NL as a subleague and then add the AL?
What i want to do is have just the NL till 1901.

Yes, you'll have to do it as a fictional league, change the number of sub-leagues to 1 and then in the post-season of 1900 add a sub-league through the menu choices I've mentioned.

well that may work but when setting up a custom league i notice you
dont have the option of automatic expansion as you do in creation of historical leagues. Im guessing fictional would be the same way. I could still do it but i would rather have the automatic expansion so the teams i set in the database come in at the appropriate time without me forgetting a team or a ballprk etc. Plus it would be easier.
So either i have to start with AL & NL to have automatic expansion or
i can have the league evolved into 2 leagues but without automatic expansion. is that correct?

If your asking to added another Sub League to the existing AL and NL and maybe call it Federal or USA then you out of luck and maybe they could add that feature for Real Leagues.
