Minor League signings/releasings
I don't usually pay much attention to my single A teams, but today I was looking through a single A team in one of my leagues and found that it has 101 players (!). I immediately went to the manager screen and took control of minor league signings and releasings.
Going through the histories of my single A players as I manually released a couple dozen of them, I saw that many of them had been signed and released over and over. Sometimes they would be released by an organization and then immediately re-signed by that organization. Most often they were signed by team A, released by team A a week or a month later, signed and quickly released by team B, signed and released again by team A, then again by team B, etc etc. Perhaps this is an area that could use some tweaking.

This sounds very similar to the situation I'm having: BZ 1743: Draft and release issue. The issue is logged and hopefully a solution will be found. Our online league is preparing to migrate over to OOTP 9 in about 3 months - I'd hate to have to delete the two affected AI leagues from our universe because of this issue. Fortunately none of our minor leagues are experiencing it.

May I ask:
When are you moving to OOTP9? Does your league require AIM? Is attendance at the live draft required?
