Infield outfield arm ?? Cut-off man
How much do these strength figures in infield outfield arms play into a a play at any plate.
I´m talking about a possible REALY throw. It´s clear that an outfielder with a strong arm can throw out a runner, and an infield arm can be the difference in throwing out someone too. But the classic cut-off man issue. How is it working in OOTP ?? We are looking at many side-effects. The outfielder is inexperience and goes for that loooong throw, missing the cut-off man. Strong arm, yes , but accurate ??? Combination of that outfielder and the infielder (cut-off man) getting the out at homeplate. APBA board games had some calculation that involved both outfielders and "part" of infielder arms in the result. |

Good question. Not one I have an answer for, unfortunately. I don't know of a way anyone can really test this, as there would be a number of factors coming into play every time.

BUMP Markus ???
Will the infielders arm have anything with the outcome of a throw to get a runner ??? Sometime I can read a cut-off and such, so hopefully YES.... |
