Team has an illegal number of players on the active roster (7)?
Just got this error thrown at me. Checked through every team and none of the rosters are over the limit - not one. Not even the college/HS teams, or anything.
I'm running a custom game, with a standard MLB-AAA-AA-A-S A-R, Col & HS setup. Standard limits - 25 for all leagues except the rookie league; 40-man expanded roster. I just added four teams through an expansion draft in the off-season, and that went through fine. The only difference is every team is from a different country... not sure if this will affect anything though. I'm using 9.1.6. I've tried locking the rosters, turning on commissioner mode and manually telling the AI to "set up complete Organization, Lineups etc." on the transactions screen, and still I can't pass a single day. Anyone got any ideas |

You say none of the teams are over the limit. The error is saying that a team doesn't have enough players. It should also say which team it is. Can you check that the team name is appearing and then tell us how many players are on the active roster for that team?

Oh, it means not enough? That's... odd. It doesn't mention a team name. What I put in the title is exactly the message I get (without the ? in game, though, of course
). All the teams have 25 on their active roster. Two teams have 7 players on one of their minor league teams - one's a Short A and one's a Rookie league team, but neither league has a min or max players per team limit.Argh, found the problem. Allow incomplete minor league rosters wasn't ticked when I thought it was. Sorry
