Thanks alot

Thanks guys. I've havnt slept in 3 days. My wife thinks I'm having an online affair. This game is truly addictive and time consuming. You can spend days just making unies and hats. Incredible game.

Post some of your unies on the Mods forum, and tell your wife to start her own league (on a different computer).

Thanks for posting. I was using Windows Paint for a long time, but I finally switched to the free download Paint.net because Windows Paint can't do invisible backgrounds.

One I got Paint.net (and the invisible backgrounds) I discovered layering which allows you to build each part of a uniform on its own layer. That way you can modify, swap, resize, recolor, etc. each layer independent of any of the other layers. Once you go to layering you'll never go back!

By the way, you can find more about doing uniforms in the Mods forum. Good luck in your future efforts!

I have a couple programs that use layering but for the life of me I cant figure it out. So I get frustrated and went back to paint. I really wish I had the old Delux Paint I used to use one my Amiga.

I used that too, and loved it.

This thread may help with layered uniform design...

and I have 2 postings at SimCentral (layer templates and an example - for Paint.net)

I could not help laughing at this.
Problem is, my wife is right in front of me right now, and she kept asking what was so funny.

That's awesome! I mean, it's awesome so long as the wife doesn't decide to 'get even' and...uhhh...would you happen to have an pictures of the little lady handy? Just wondering...

I like the uni, by the way, especially for a first effort. Good job!
