Historical Player Import
I am curious if anyone knows of a way to import all the historical players of a draft class into the draft pool in a year they were not drafted. An example would be having the 1905 draft class in 1901 and then the 1927 class in 1902 and so on. Is this possible without importing every player manually?

Well, that is unless you want to go through the Lahman csv files and edit a bunch of stuff. I suppose you could change the 1927 player records to have their first year be 1902, but that would be a pain.

If you're playing an historical game, then players come into the draft automatically each year, but I don't know of a way to put any player into the draft, whether they're historical or fictional.

The only way I know of is if you create a fictional player from the free agents window.

When the draft list is published ensure you are on commissioner mode and then the bottom has an option to create a new fictional player or import a historical player. Then you can import any historical player that the database you are using has in it. |

Yes, it asks you if you want to make the new fictional player draft eligible. I don't know if it does the same thing for importing an historical player.
