Vista crash on December 31, 2015 every time!

I can't get passed December 31, 2015 ! It always goes to OSA Scouting Players... and then it stops at a certain percentage and I wait it out and then the windows message comes up:

"OOTP 9 Has Stopped Working"

I am running Vista with plenty of RAM and I have FTPed my files to the site under STL10WC.zip.zip

And I have to close! I am really into my dynasty. I have the new version. I have tried several times and even re-installed the newest version. I know a similar problem is being talked about in another thread and I am willing to do anything to help troubleshoot this problem.

There's alot going on with OOTP at the close of the year; Auto saving, Almanac generating, Reports etc. I wonder however.... do you have FaceGen enabled and is it set to Update & generate pic's on Jan 31st? (Player and Picture options) in game setup.

I was helping someone out with a similar problem, and by setting this option to "Always if needed" it took some of the burden off his PC so it wouldn't have to do so much just to begin the next season. It also helps by diasbling your virus scan. I've noticed myself using Vista that when OOTP has alot of work to do i have to sit patiently through the OOTP is Not responding issue until it finally comes around.
