Injury modifiers question
I apologize if this has already been asked / addressed....
I know it's a relatively randomly generated thing (the type of injury, beyond the duration), but it seems like I've got at least one guy getting injured with a fractured skull each season I play. I've looked at the injuries.txt file, and there doesn't seem to be a modifier as to how often certain injuries may occur. As far as I can tell, assuming the player injury proneness levels are the same, a player is just as likely to get a fractured skull as a strained hamstring. Is there a way to adjust how frequently certain injuries occur? ...also, as a side note, am I to assume that all of those text files in the database folder are commented in C style (// --> comment until end of line; /* ~ */ --> comment block)? ...or are some files formatted entirely differently / used differently? I noticed that the injuries.txt file looks like it has the variable names across the top (not a comment)... wondering if the program reads those in when first opening the file as a means of determining what it's looking at, or if the file just happened to be written that way. Thanks, -Joe Conners |

No, there are no frequency modifiers, short of removing the injury type itself. This is something I am going to be pressing for in v10. Verrrry hard pressing.
