I remember Arthur Rhodes and Alan Mills kicking the crap out of Seattle in one of the best baseball brawls I've ever seen. I've always liked him.

He was in the LaRussa game from 1992. Is he the last active one?

Moyer, Randy Johnson, Ivan Rodriguez, I'm sure there are others.

I remember Gerald Williams of Atlanta having almost perfect ratings. Andy Allenson was also awesome. The Angels were the worst team in baseball.

THis got me to thinking of the craziest brawl I ever saw. Probably 1988. At Wrigley. Eric Show hits Andre Dawson in the face with a pitch. Dawson is on the ground not moving. ANd the Cubs are all out of the dugout going for Show. Benches cleared. After about 10 minutes things calm down and the umps start trying to clear the field. Well, about that time Dawson has gotten up. And he goes absolutely freaking bananas, he starts pushing everyone (friend, foe, and I think even one of the umps) aside in his manhunt for Show.

As a Reds fan, I smile every time I see Arthur's stats. A stunning 0.87 ERA and about as close to a shutdown lefty as you will find. It is lights out when he takes the mound and I wish he would take over the closer's role from CoCo Cordero.
