Player traded to different league appears on AL charts
I don't know if it is because he did a lot of it in the AL, but I don't think this is right.
EDIT: John Jaha was traded from the Twins to Atlanta. He appears on HRs, RBIs, On-Base + Slug. |

This is actually the way that MLB does it, provided that their stats are being kept separate for both the AL and NL. Are Jaha's AL stats updating with his NL numbers, or are they remaining static?

I guess this can be closed if this is how they do it in the MLB. I guess I've never really noticed. Thanks! |

Yes this is how they do it in the MLB. If a player is traded from the AL to the NL and is among the league leaders, you will still see him on the leaderboard until the other players catch up. Usually the last leaderboard a player leaves is the batting average if they were really far ahead. They will drop off when they no longer have enough at bats to qualify. It sucks if you want a homerun leader or something through a trade, as their old league stats will not count towards their new league's charts. Their season stats will not be affected, only league ones for that season.
