OOTP Skins Question

When you select a skin does it move files somewhere that are then used? Like the left and right batter pics?

I don't think so. If you look in each one of those skin folders, they all have a subfolder called images. In each of those folders is a set of batter pics that the game calls up when it is compiling the file called skin.bin which is the basis for what you see as colors, frames, images, etc. This is why, if you were to mod those batter pics, a set has to be placed in each of the images folders (and each skin.bin file has to be deleted to make the game build another one with the modded images).
