too bad they won't update or do anything with their Bowl Bound college football game.....for a first version this had extreme potential to be a GREAT game and still is a lot of fun....

just been sittin idle for 3 years now with no updates or changes.

Multiple advance? About damn time.

The interface design of his games still leaves a hell of a lot to be desired.

Bowl Bound: Bought it when the price dropped. Have yet to actually play it.

Great game ... should have updated it prior to working on the pro game ...

I'm curious as to what you feel should have been added to the college title prior to developing the pro model.

I play BB daily and it is very sufficient.

It's 3 years old it could always be updated .... I don't think the recruiting is as strong as it could be and the academic model is very poor. Playing time issues are a problem ... like for example your starter can be completely healthy the entire game and your back up takes 75% of the snaps. Despite the fact that you have the starters play time set at 90%. In on-line leagues the options getting turned on and off at a whim needs to be fixed also.

Bowl Bound is a great game and I recommend it quite frequently but it could use an update. Any game described as "sufficient" could use an update.

Not to mention they would be better off competing with Wolverine's pro game if Bowl Bound was already compatible with the pro game when it comes out.

I don't see this with my squad in Gridiron Glory.

This has long been worked around via the MP patch put out to commissioners.

Arlie has stated multiple times that a BBCF patch linking it to the pro game will be released at the same time as the pro game is released.

I've seen it twice with my team in the league I am in

Got to the point last season where I had to put my team on computer control for the rest of recruiting because it wouldn't let me take back what the computer did after it turned my options to computer controlled

Very good news and good for the game
Don't get me wrong I think BB is a great game and I recommend it to anyone but to say it doesn't need updated after 3 years is giving it a bit too much credit.

Point 1: Can't help you.

Point 2: Tell your commish to get the MP patch and use the 'fix human options' button. You won't see this problem anymore.

As for saying it didnt need updating, I didn't. I merely stated that it wasn't necessary until the pro game is out, but I'm sure you've logged many more hours with this game than I have.

It's a little off topic, but BBCF had three major updates in 2006 (the last in Dec) and a MP update last year. There will be another minor update to link with the pro game this year. Given we haven't charged a cent to people who bought the game in 2005 for all these updates, I would say it's been a pretty solid value

Once I get the pro game done and the BBCF update out, I will start working on the next college game.

Good to hear ... if the pro game is as solid as BBCF it will be a great game.
