BZ 1485: Player Creation - No 19 year-olds?
Just an FYI, looking at the draft classes of a couple seasons in a 16-team test league, I see only 4 19-year-old players created. Seems odd. Only a few 23-year-olds, too. But that seems less odd. Same behavior was in v2007 I think, and I was of the opinion Markus was going to address it.
Code:
Age Count 17 94 18 65 19 4 20 55 21 65 22 35 23 2 Total 320 |

I've got similar results as well. As a result, BZ 1485

I'm guessing this happens because high school and college players are generated separately. High school guys are 17-19 and college guys are 20-23, and for both the age distribution gets thinned out at the higher ages. Maybe the high school player distribution should be corrected upwards a little, so that they overlap.
I get 19 year olds playing all sorts of positions, by the way. |

Markus states that this is intentional and will not be changed.
