MLB Based Leage with Fictional Players

Is there a way to use the built in MLB league but use fictional players instead of the rosters that ship with the game?

One easy way would be to delete all the players, then delete all the FA's, then create fictional players for every team. All possible in league setup.

And that's something I'm going to do very soon myself. I prefer fictional leagues, but the ease of setting up real logos and stuff makes using real teams very tempting.
