Little help...
I can't import the league file after installing OOTP2007.
Here are the steps I take. (By the way, I'm running Vista SP1) 1. I download the file that Commish posted and extract it. 2. I copy the .LG file and all the sub folders to the Saved_Games folder. 3. I run the game and it asks me what league I want to open and I select the BBL league file and it opens and everything looks good. 4. I click "Check for updated league files" and I am prompted with "Do you really want to download the online Files?..blah blah blah". I click Ok. 5. It looks like it's opening an FTP conncetion (I've tried it with and without my firewall enabled) and I get "Error: Could not get file information" I'm the only person in our league that has this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Zayx GM of the Chessie Ironhorse Backyard Baseball League |

Delete all of the BBL league files. Then contact your commissioner and ask him to zip up ONLY the .dat files after the next sim and make them available for you to download. Then download, unzip and make sure the .dats are in a folder named BBL.lg. If not, rename the folder as such. Place this folder into your saved_games directory. Start the game and open the league. You should be able to export fine. The next sim after that, you should be able to download via the game with no problems.
