Exclamation 4.2 Free Agency Bug

Online league teams now have to enter a password before being allowed to bid and the team password is not working! It will only work if you enter commish password now. The new patch killed the exporting of free agents feature all together... To make things worse there is no link for 4.1 to rollback to.....

That's strange because I have been using 4.2 for about 2 weeks now and have been right in the middle of the FA bidding period in an online league I'm in the commish password has been set and I have been able to enter my bids w/o any problems or entering passwords, plus I have sent my bids in via ftp without problems.

We are in the middle of the Free Agent Phase and most of us upgraded today. I can confirm that it is happening to at least 2 teams. I will report back after I have talked to a few more of the owners. As of right now we are forced to go back to e-mailing the bids and me doing all the work again...

Okay, I just tried it again and this time it did ask for a password before I could bid so this is something that was just changed today. I reported it to Markus just to let you know, I was able to ftp my bids in.

Ok thanks for passing it on! Not a big deal since I can enter them manually, it was just a nice feature and I would hate to see it go due to a small bug.

Thanks
Tim

I can confirm yes that this is happening. Very frustrating, we just started the free agency in my league and now I can't submit a bid. I hope this gets fixed quick!

From the FOFC board:

Also, this has always been the case with the show your offers button on the FA screen. It seems like the team should be able to view their own offers if they can enter the password.

[Edit]: It looks like the first situation has been reported on the .400 board. I've always wondered about the show offers one though.

Bump, Bumpa, Bumpage.
