Two questions:
1. I noticed minors also have depth charts and line-ups. If I don't have complete rosters at each level, does it hurt the guys I do have there? For example, if I only have two pitchers in AA does that mean they will start every other day? And if I don't have a 2B but have two RFs for example, does that mean one RF will play second for the whole season instead of his natural position? 2. I tried to fill teams with fictional players. After I put the "real" players I wanted into the minors, I went to game set up and clicked that but (i.e. fill with fictional players) but it didn't do anything. I'd like to have AAA full of real players and maybe some at AA but the other levels I really don't care if they are real players or not. What is the best way to do that? Thanks. |

1) If you have ghost players turned on, it won't usually hurt the guys if there aren't complete rosters. OOTP is a little weird (as usual) in that sometimes the AI doesn't realize it has ghost players and one or two guys might get exhausted (tends to be catchers, IMO).
2) Filling it with fictional players, IIRC, just fills Triple-A. I may be wrong, I haven't used that feature in quite a while. |
