Historical League Transaction Question

Hi, here's my question. I'm running our historical league in the commissioner mode. I'm running all the league transactions for everyone. The guys email me their changes. However, everytime I sim, even though I'm in control of my team, one of my players gets released or sent down. Am I doing something wrong?

Go to Manager options and check Team Control and make sure you control everything. This is all I can think of, hope it is some help.
