Quick Question: Ability to play as owner?

Just a quick question: is there a way to play as the owner of the team instead of just the GM?

I was trying to find a way to take control of the team without selecting a manager, similar to the way it was done in OOTP6 (setting a team to human-controlled and foregoing the "new manager career" feature), but I can't even find that.

Currently I am playing as commissioner with coaching off, so if and when I delegate something, I am delegating to Computer AI instead of a specific manager. This combination makes me feel like the end all and be all of my organization (and I don't delegate, BTW

).

If you still want coaching on, however, you can always choose somebody and edit him to have the abilities and strategic preferences that you want and give him $0 contracts for 10 years at a time. A clone of yourself, as it were.

As far as your own identity, you do need to be a human manager to control anything in the game AFAIK, even if you just call yourself "Owner."
