Ugh! Darn promotion/demotion issue

Can someone please tell what I ma doing wrong here

I keep getting these huge transaction logs from my minor league teams who apparantly feel the need to constantly promote/demote the same peopl over and over.

My active roster sizes are as follows

A - 40
AA - 40
AAA -35
ML - 25

Is it possible the size of your minor league rosters means it's more likely players go back and forth due to rating changes? i.e. it's easier for a player to gain a spot in an upper league with slight rating changes than if they're smaller?

No, not the way this looks. The same people are promoted demoted multiple tiems on the SAME day. This has been an issue since, well forever, but this is not the first time I've reported this

Same issue here. Every day, practically the entire single A roster (Dayton) moves to the other single A team (Sarasota), and most of the players from one of my Rookie league teams changes places with my other Rookie League team. I have roster moves set to the computer AI, but this is ridiculous. Anybody have a fix for this?

Umm, don't let the AI manage the rosters on a daily bases, just hit the let AI manage minor league rosters on the Transaction page about once a week, or when you make transactions between the majors and minors.

umm, I want the AI to manage the rosters every day. I just want the AI to do it in a realistic manner. You have suggested a work around, and I appreciate that. I think this represents a bug, though, and I was hoping it would be recognized as such, and eventually squashed.

Having a limit on your lowest Minor league has been documented as the cause of this bug. I'm pretty sure it's been recognized as a bug at the least, but due to how the AI treats ratings changes and it's evaluating of them, it has been a near imposible job to squash, it's been worked on for at least the last 4 versions.

Edit:

it's been TT here http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=147048 as TT#3501

I also saw 3 TT numbers for the dreaded draft and release, which I consider a simular problem.

zekester91, thanks for the info. I was unaware that a TT# had been assigned, and happy that it has at least been logged. I guess it's not a major deal, but a bit of a nuisance. Thanks again.

I have the same problem, and I have unlimited roster limits for all of my minor leagues so that's not the problem.
