How Come The Game Asks Me If I Want To Purchase The Full Version?

I had OOTP 2007 for mac and recently bought OOTP 8 with the coupon discount. I started up the game today and a screen popped up asking me if I've had fun or whatever playing OOTP 8 and that I can purchase the whole thing now.

But I already paid the $5.99 or whatever plus the cost for OOTP 2007 when I got that.

Am I playing a trial version, is there something missing from the game or something?

Try entering in the order code. Then it will know that you have really bought the game.
