Defending Champs Need a GM

The NOBL has two teams open, the Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Detroit was last year's champion. They feature a Cy Young winner and, top to bottom, a very balanced team. Pittsburgh is a team poised for rebuilding. They have around $30 million in contract decisions to make, and could be the largest free agent bidder. We feature a simple restricted free agency model, and one of the best pitchers in the league is affected this season.

The NOBL is a 20-team fictional league. We sim 3-games per day, every day but Sunday. We've had 26 uninterrupted sims this season, and only had one interrupted last season.

Beyond excellent Commish!!!

No brown noseing here, just saying the guy stays on top of the league and makes sure everything runs smooth!

What more could you ask for?

If you are into the fictional players and leagues this is where you need to be!

As of this post the defending champs, Detroit are only 4 games out of 1st place. Right behind my Colorado Rockies. This is a great time to come on board. With just a little guidance, Detroit may blow past us!

I just joined this league a few weeks ago as a replacement GM, and its a lot of fun. Active GM's and daily postings make this the league to be in. Detroit looks pretty good to me, may have grabbed them if they had been open when i joined. Come on and join us, i dont think you will be dissapointed.

I would be interested in taking over as the General Manager of the Pirates. Rebuilding a team in the cellar seems like a great challenge. I will also email the commish on the website.

I took over a team a short while ago, and this has proven to be a great league. Friendly owners, great sim schedule, and a very active commish.

Yes..it seems as if it is a really professional league by looking at the site, site content, and posts the owners have made on this thread.

I can't take on another league right now, but if I could, this would be the one! I love the BBPro history of the league- I, too, cut my teeth on the old Sierra games, and I still miss actually getting to watch my players play. Yes, I know the animations were all the same, but there was something magical about watching the way my all-time wins leader Cantille Prenouche could control the strike zone. Good luck with this league, hope to be on board some day!
