Diamondbacks in 5. They will ride Schilling and Johnson, again.

Gotta agree here. Even though the D-backs lost Gonzo, the savvy and experience will pull them through. Schilling and Johnson will take care of business.

Twins, you make it sound like that annoys you...

I say D'Backs in four.

Diamondbacks in 3.... we are poised.

Am I the only one that can't get a picture put in here?

Don't really care who wins one way or the other, but if I had to choose I would root for the D'Backs.

Well, it won't be in three now. Johnson really kicked some ass tonight, huh?

The Cardinals, over the last few years, have hit Schilling and Johnson both very well. I don't see why that should change. As hot as Johnson has been, for him to be hit so hard last night should be a little scary. Schilling has been decidedly un-hot, so they may follow up the 12-2 rout with something similair in game 2.

Go Redbirds.

Wow, 2-0. The aces lost both of the games, and a great pitching performance by Chuch Finley. Who woulda thought?

I think the votes for the D-Backs to win the series has actually gone UP in the last 24 hours. How very strange.....

Byung-Hyun Kim is a terrible pitcher under pressure. He is absolutely pitiful ...

Kim is young (and, so far, pitiful). I'm wondering if better management would help him. I like Brenly, but he brought Kim back for Game 5 last year after throwing 40+ (60+?) pitches the night before in Game 4. He was lit up in both appearances. Tonight he left Kim in a little too long as well.

Bob Brenly made some gambles last year and they paid off, and lots of folks were praising his "gutsy" decision making.

This year, his "gutsy" management was a little less fruitful.

Such is life for the MLB manager.
