Help! Missing position ratings

My top draft pick of a couple seasons ago, who is a shortstop, has finally made it to the big show! The problem is the sisa scout does not have him rated at shortstop. My scouts all do have him rated for his position. My question is how do I change the player file? When I open the file, it is unreadable. Maybe the better question is do I even need to worry about the sisa ratings not being there?

Has there been a SISA rescout since his debut?

If you're in commish mode just check the editor page and see if he has a rating at SS. It sounds like he is rated there and just that SISA haven't fully scouted him.

If you're playing with scouts on, SISA isn't all that reliable, so I wouldn't worry about it much, as long as your scouts report a rating. If a scout doesn't think his arm, range, error or turn DP are up to snuff, he won't get a rating at shortstop no matter how good his ratings are otherwise, so it might be that SISA erroneously thinks his, say, turn DP rating is just below the minimum threshold to get a shortstop rating. As I said, not cause for great concern if your own scouts say otherwise.
