Can you remove players from the trading block?
Is there a way to remove a player from the trading block once he's been put there?
I made a sort of informal policy of putting any player in the last year of his contract on the trading block if I had trouble resigning him, thinking I'd rather hear offers on him in case our talks break down. The problem is when a guy then agrees to an extension, and I can't remove him from the block. The same thing happens to me when I list a couple guys on the block, figuring I will move one of them but not both. An example would be if I'm deep in the outfield but lack a relief pitcher or middle infielder or something. Once I trade one outfielder for my weak spot, I no longer want the other guy on the block. That's all a really long way of asking the first question. Can a player come back off the trading block? |

Yes, you should be able to put a guy on the trade block and then remove him whenever you want to, whether it is seconds later or days/weeks later. Unless I am misunderstanding or something new creeped into this area of the game in v4.1 then you should always be able to remove players from the trade block.
Just in case this is related: 1. Are you speaking of an online league? 2. You've double checked that the team is human controlled? Note that leaving the player on the block does not really matter, since you would have to agree to a trade anyway, but I guess it looks good if that area of the transactions screen is neater .

All you have to do is click on the guy on the trading block, and drag him away into another column. That should do it.
