This is what I want to happen:

St. Louis over Arizona
Atlanta over San Francisco
Anaheim over New York
Minnesota over Oakland

St. Louis over Atlanta
Minnesota over Anaheim

St. Louis over Minnesota.

What will happen:

St. Louis over Arizona
Atlanta over San Fran
New York over Anaheim
Oakland over Minnesota

Atlanta over St Louis
New York over Oakland

New York over Atlanta

I'd love to see a rematch of last year, but I think it will be Atlanta v the Yankees.

I also think it will be Braves vs. Yankees ...

I wish it would be Twins vs. Braves though - but as long as the Yankees don't win the World Series I'll be happy ...

I will echo H I McDonough's sentiments:

I want to see St.Louis v. Minnesota with the Cards exacting a measure of revenge for 1987...

I wouldn't mind seeing an equally riveting rematch of 1991...Minnesota over Atlanta.

My pick:

Giants v. Yankees, the Giants steal signs in Game 7 and Shawon Dunston (#23) hits a Series clinching HR off of Steve Karsay - who wears #31, the reverse of unlucky #13 - the ghost of Russ Hodges emerges to hijack the play-by-play, shouting "The Giants win the Series! The Giants win the Series!...and...wow...that is just ridiculous!

Lets go with:

Yankees v. Braves

A's over D'Backs in 6 or 7.

Then again, the yankees could win it all again...wouldn't THAT be exciting. Yawn.

Regardless of who wins, I hope Barry Bonds hits .800 and averages 2 homeruns per game played so people can shut up about this clutch hitting crap already.

I think you'd be safer away from Nor Cal.
