Fictional league with real ballparks

I want to start a fictional Major League so I will have all fictional players, but I will rename the teams to their real counterparts.
I'd also like to have the real MLB ballparks. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks

Save yourself a lot of trouble. Download and install the Fictional MLB 2007 Quick Start featured in the bottom right hand Quick Starts section of this site.

Go to this web site and download the ballpark images that you want:

http://web.mac.com/sixwilsons/OOTPMods/Ballparks.html

While you are there, download the 2007 Stadium Chart by Gambo (Excel required, however). This will give you data that you need.

Next, go to this web site and read the instructions on how to install ballpark images:

http://web.mac.com/sixwilsons/OOTPMods/Help.html

You may want to bookmark that page for future reference. There is a lot of good stuff on that page.

Once you have your league set up, sign on as commissioner (go to Manager Options and check the box), then go to each team's Options and Ballpark page. What you will be doing is using Gambo's chart to edit each ballpark to look like the real one. He has everything in there, including ballpark factors.

There is more on how to edit ballparks in the game manual, Section 25.4.5. Ballpark Editor.

(I see Charlie has logged in with a good alternative while I was typing this.)

Thanks guys. I'll do that. I have Excel so that's fine.

Note to 1998 Yankees: I see the Yanks have blown it open tonight. My Mets so far are winning again in Cincy, now I'm just hearing Lo Duca has blown it open.

Any chance at a subway World Series this year, do ya think?

Maybe. At this point, though, it looks like it's going to be a lot easier for you guys to get there than us, I think.

Thanks for referencing that site. I downloaded the Stadium Chart file some time ago. It's cool, as it has built in macros to make new ones too. In fact, I downloaded all of my uniform and logo stuff from that site, and I NEVER SAW THAT PAGE. Man 1998Yankees, thanks, that page is very helpful. I just saved the entire HTML page onto my desktop, so I can pop that sucker open any time I want. Thanks, for idiots like myself, this kind of step by step walkthrough is very helpful.
