Almanac?
What is the purpose of the almanac?
Do you use it? What does it do? Does it somehow track records of players? Thanks I was looking at the options for it and was intrigued. |

1998 Yankees, thanks for that explanation.
I have yet to start my 2007 Universe...waiting for the final patch. This is good information. |

One other nice thing that you get with the Almanac as probably the most literal part of the "snapshot" concept is that it can save your players' FaceGen images each season. So you can go back after twenty years and see what that 38-year-old slugger with Team C looked like as a teenager in the uniform of the team he broke in with.

Depending on what you choose to include in the almanacs, they can be humongous in size and can slow simulation time down considerably. I remember people discussing this on either this board or the noob forum. Again, search in both forums for "almanac" and you will get more information on the benefits and drawbacks of almanacs. |
