OOTP6.5 1990s League with openings

The Classic Internet Baseball League (CIBL) presently has teams available. We are nearing the end of 1996.
http://www.classic-baseball.us

Our league started in 1980 and is looking forward to the next 10+ seasons.
Team openings are posted on the front page and updated pretty regularly.
We use OOTP6.5 with no present plans on moving to a newer version. We are planning on expanding with the history of baseball, so we definitely need to fill our openings. Sims are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with exports due BY 4pm Eastern (sim may be run after that but is never run before that unless previously specified).

If you are interested, we are interested in joining us, please stop by our website and leave us a message on our forums with the information we ask for.

Thanks,
Chris

In CIBL, I've been the Cubs since 1989 or so. It's a very competitive league when we've got all the spots filled.

Last time I looked, Milwaukee, Colorado and the Mets were the available teams -- all cellar-dwellers. If you're like me, and you like a good rebuilding project, it looks like you're in luck. And all these teams have a really superb farmhand or two to get you started.

CIBL - White Sox

Hello fellow OOTP6.5'ers.....

This IS a great league. I am a bit biased as I currently serve as the AL president. It is also competitive but fun. My White Sox are perpetual bottom-feeders, but I stick around because:

1) the sims are like clockwork
2) the leagues members are a great bunch of players to compete against
3) and I cannot quit until the White Sox win a championship.....which will be never.

So, I'm a lifer. Heh....

Please join us. I know 6.5 leagues are becoming a bit of a challenge to fill, but I bet more than a few of you like this version.

Best wishes to all of your teams in all of your other leagues....

Still lots of openings, closing in on the end of the regular season.

If you prefer a team already on top, there are potentially two more teams opening up at the end of the season that are teams on top (or near the top) of their divisions.
