Players Rating/Potential question

With ootp6, I was able to distinguish the major players/stars/superstars by the number of stars at the top of their profile.

How can I do this with ootp7?

Thanks in advance for your response.

I am hoping your answer is as simple as turning the Stars option on for Overall/Potential Rating under Game Options. Don't forget that somebody (your scouts or SISA) has to scout the players for you to see any ratings.

Sorry for the time between posts.

Thanks for helping me.

Will those ratings adjust over time?

If you have scouts off, then yes, they'll adjust over time to reflect the quality of the player relative to others at his position; with scouts off you see the player's true ratings, and they update continually.

With scouts on, the star ratings will normally only change if you re-scout the player. One exception- if the quality of other players at his position changes markedly, his star rating could go up or down slightly, even without a rescout. Same is true if you change the player's position (especially noticeable when you change a CL to an MR). Stars are a relative measure, based on a comparison only with players at the same position, unless you change this in Game Setup.

Thanks, injury log. As soon as I turned the scouting system off, I was able to see everyone's current "star" ratings.

Thanks again to you as well, 1998 Yankees.
