Bowe to make comeback!

Just read that Riddick Bowe will make a comeback. According to fightnews.com he is going to fight Rocky Phillips (Paul Phillips according to boxrec) in August 19.

I didn't think he'd ever fight again. I was just thinking about his last fight about 2 weeks ago and figured that he took so much punishment in that fight, either in convinced him not to go on, or he needed a lot of time to recover from the damage.

Unhappy

Now this is a very bad idea, and although I was not a fan of his I would not like to see something happen to him that is preventable.

Bowe is completely shot as a fighter IMO. He barely beat Billy Zumbrun a couple of years ago via SD. That same Mr. Zumbrun recently lost by TKO 5 against "comebacking" Michael Grant.

I read an article recently where they questioned Bowe's "Brain Damage" excuse for abducting his ex-wife several years back. Bowe said that was just something the Lawyer said to help his case and that he really didn't have any brain damage from fighting. Sound's like Rocky Balboa at the beginning of Rocky II when he was being admitted to the hospital. A reporter asked, "Rocky, do you think you have any brain damage?"

Rocky replied, "Uh, I dunno. I don't see any..."
