LBA 60's edition
Okay starting dynasty #2. Rules will be exactly same as the LBA. Regional titles will be based on what new countries I have. Everyone starts out at beginner. As soon as there are 10 ranked fighters (15 fights) the WBA title will be fought for with a 4 man tourney.
WBC title will be fought for when there are 30 ranked fighters with an 8 man tourney. IBF title when there are 60 ranked fighters with an 8 man tourney. WBO title will be fought for when there are 100 ranked fighters with an 8 man tourney. Regional titles will be between the top two fighter once there is 5 fighters in the group (don't get moved into the group until they move to club) Aging is the same as the LBA 5-8 10-17 25-45 5-20 5-10 Fighters who are post and end can stay at post or end if they have 6 wins in their last 10 fights. Maximum of 3 saves! Random retirements after 40 fights, random moves to post prime after 40 fights. All weight classes will be used as long as their are a minimum of 5 fighters. If there are less than 5 then they will be put in a different weight class until there are 5. Some HW's will be moved to LHW, just as in the LBA. It won't be fighters rated over 5 though. This uni will start this week with January 1960. All fighters who debuted in 1960 will be used. Once I group these fighters I may add 58 and 59 to get more #'s. If the LBA ever makes it to 1960, then these fighters will start all over and join the LBA as if this universe never happened. The fighters will never intermingle. Except maybe in retired or HOF tournies. Okay I think that covers it ... will give an briefing of the notable fighters and how many are starting out in each division sometime this week. This should be alot fun expect for the HWs where Ali will run wild until Frazier, Foreman, and company show up to give some trouble.

did Ingo and Floyd start after 1960? If they started in the 50's they won't be in the universe

Both started in 52 so no Ingo and Floyd until the LBA makes it to then which should be around 2060 so it won't be that long of a wait for Tommy.

Well if I do the math ... I am almost done with my 12 year and it is coming up on the 3 year anniversary in April ... 2060 sounds about right. I'll be 92! |

Ha, and you know you'll still be on these boards making posts to update the LBA.

Besides the HW division the #'s are a little thin of fighters starting in 1960, so I will be adding fighters who started in 1958 and 1959

Starting Fighters
There will be 10 division as JMW and JWW had enough to join. With the JMW division I put all 5 fighters from 1960 and before into it, because there were several joining in 1961. I think it was one fighter from 1950 and one from 1955, the other 3 were between 1958 and 1960.
Heavyweights 80 fighters .. 4 will be dropped to LHW though ... so it will start with 76 fighters (corrected #) Notables Muhammed Ali (15) Gregorio Peralta (9) Three (6) six (5) it's Ali's division for a while .. not sure he will lose ever Lightheavyweight 26 total fighters + 4 from the HW's gives them 30 to start with (corrected #) notables Jose Torre (9) Roger Rouse (7) three (6) two (5) Middleweight 23 total fighters Notables Jose Gonzalez (7) four (6) four (5) very weak division starting out Jr. Middleweight 5 fighters starting out Notables Freddie Little (10) Denny Moyer (8) Ralph Dupes (7) Welterweight 35 fighters starting out Notables Jose Napoles (13) Florentino Fernandez (9) Dick Turner (8) Curtis Cokes (8) four (7) five (6) four (5) Very solid division maybe the best jr. welterweight 10 fighters starting out notables Nicolino Locche (10) Bunny Grant (9) one (6) four (5) Lightweight 23 fighters starting out notables Johnny Bizzarro (8) Mel Middleton (7) five (6) one (5) Featherweight 16 fighters starting out notables Howard Winstone (8) Mitsunori Seki (7) two (6) five (5) Bantamweight 12 total fighters notables Fighting Hirada (10) Jesus Pimentel (9) three (7) three (5) Flyweight 11 total fighters notables Eduardo Mojica (8) Hiroyuki Ebihara (7) one (6) one (5) One thing I noticed is the regional titles will be much different with a lot of different nationalities involved now. Difinitely will have to have a Asian title as Japan had a lot of lower weight guys. Last edited by mh2365; 01-23-2007 at 07:41 PM. |

Looks like Ali will be pretty much unchallenged for a while.
