Press Conference: eMLB & USBA join 'Total Sports World'

eMLB (An OOTP 2007 online league) is soon to enter its 7th year of operations, having begun on July 19th, 2000. For the longest time, it has stood alone and done its business efficiently and without falter.

In this past week, eMLB has joined forces with other elite leagues to form the Total Sports World online sports gaming community. "This is a great day for our beloved endeavor," spoke eMLB Commissioner and former fWo wrestler "The Eradicator" Erik Kelly. "eMLB joins forces with Gridiron Glory, NFLsim, the USBA (An OOTP 6.5 league), and other successful well-run organizations. Together, we will build our franchises by operating in the same manner we always have, while having the support of a community with similar interests and desires."

The highlight of the press conference was when Boston writer, Dan Shaughnessy asked if he'd finally be allowed to have more writing time in the eMLB Community now over eMLB's Award Winning writer, Ethan Knight. In reply, Commissioner Kelly took out a cinder block, smashed it over Shaughnessy's head, and then proceeded to do "The Eradication" Powerbomb on Shaughnessy, to the roar and approval of all media outlets.

Lawsuits were expected, but rumor has it all teams and media outlets would be happy to chip into Kelly's legal fund in gratitude for the move, as many believe Shaughnessy should go back to his best known role of being the Little Red Haired Girl in Charlie Brown cartoons.

eMLB is a recently converted OOTP 2007 league that has been using OOTP since OOTP 5. It began back in July 19, 2000 using High Heat, and in 2003 was shut down for 6 months to preserve all league history and accuracy in the conversion over to OOTP. It still has 20% of its original owners for 7 years, and the league is currently entering its 15th season of league play. The United States Baseball Association is a long running OOTP fictional baseball league. Begun in 2002, the USBA has many seasons under its belt and boasts many long time OOTP players. Long known as the most prestigous fictional OOTP league, the USBA is a welcome member of the TSW family. Run by Mike Dills (aka- stend on the OOTP Boards).

I just want to second what LB said, the TSW is a great community already, and it's only just begun.

I've been a part of Gridiron Glory (a BBCF league) for around a year now, and the community that that league formed is really strong. The TSW builds off that, and we can see it growing before our eyes. It's awesome to have so many different types of leagues and people to talk, debate, and complain with. You guys should really stop by and check it out, and make sure to check out the Gaming forum, that's where I work .
