Comeback story?

Has anyone had any player comeback from a major injury and perform the way they did?

EXAMPLE:

Vlad got injured with Dislocated Shoulder was out for over 8 months. His ratings have dropped both overall and potential.

Is there any chance that he regains old form?

i had this one guy who continually had rough injuries before fianlly retiring.

he had a stretch of like 7 seasons of having season ending injuries. He never hit for much of an average but his homerun potential was always good. after 3 seasons on the pro team of getting hurt i demoted him trying to get a full minor league season out of him but it never worked out.
