Hall of Fame - Please Vote!!
I have been playing OOTP for years now and I finally found some MLB Rosters that I like and after some tweaking (to make the game play like I want) I have started on an MLB Dynasty and I need the help of the OOTP Community on a decision. I have created a PowerPoint presentation (for my own benefit because I have too much time on my hands) for all the actual Hall of Famers (including Pete Rose). I of course have the players and which teams they entered the hall playing for (i.e Yount with the Brewers and Winfield with the Padres), but I have a problem on my hands. It is easy to chose teams for players like Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn, but with this year's class I need your help. I have already put Roger Clemens in with a Red Sox uniform, but please help me decide with the next two:
Greg Maddux: Chicago Cubs Resume: 133-112 3.61 ERA 1,305 K's 47 CG 298 GS 14 SHO 2,016 IP 9 1/2 Seasons 1 Cy Young Award 5 NL Gold Gloves 2x NL All-Star Atlanta Braves Resume: 194-88 2.63 ERA 1,828 K's 61 CG 363 GS 21 SHO 2,526 IP 11 Seasons 3 Cy Young Awards 10 NL Gold Gloves 6x NL All-Star 1 World Series Title Randy Johnson Seattle Mariners Resume 130-74 3.42 ERA 2,162 K's 51 CG 266 GS 19 SHO 1,838 IP 1 AL Cy Young 5x AL All-Star Arizona Diamondbacks Resume 103-49 2.65 ERA 1,832 K's 36 CG 192 GS 14 SHO 1,389 IP 4 NL Cy Young Awards 5x NL All-Star 1 World Series Title 1 World Series co-MVP Award I will watch the votes through this weekend (5/13) and then make a decision. Thanks! I have fixed the poll where you can vote more than once, so please choose one for Maddux and one for Johnson, Thanks!!! |

Braves, D-Backs.
Easy picks on both sides. IMO only Seattle/Chicago fans could disagree. |

Nope, I think Chicago fans would say that Mad Dog should go in as a Brave. It's where he spent the bulk of his career...and it's a good slap in the face for the Cubs. They should have never let him get out of town....

I am a Mariner fan, and Johnson should go in as an Expo
. Barring that, as a Diamondback. But when you get to Jr. Griffey, a Mariner, no debate on that one in my head. |
