Dumb ? for Cato

After I have imported everything for a season. Do I have to keep the old csv files for the past seasons or can I get rid of those?

I am not Cato but I think I can safely answer - it would be wise to back up the old CSV files & the old game HTML files that the OOTP History program uses. It would also be wise to back up the MDB file after every season that is entered succesfully. If your DB becomes corrupted and you have start over it will save you a ton of time if these files are backed up. Also, if a future OOTP History patch requires you to start over from scratch then having the old CSV and game HTML will be a tremendous bonus.

Agreed. Any utility that takes CSV, I would suggest backing your CSVs up and/or keeping them. I don't know about you, but I really wouldn't want to have to generate them again

My advice is to ZIP up the database, the csv files and the html files from the game each season. In case something happens, you have the ability to recreate that way.

Yep, can't really say it any better then they did. Hopefully, I'll never have to make a change in the database that would require starting from scratch, but you never know. Better safe than sorry!
