Team Salary screen ... display bug

I like to lock up young potential superstars, so I offer them long contracts. When it's longer than they want, of course they'll reply with a personal message 'that's not what I'm looking for'.

But here's the behavior I'm seeing:

* Player wants 2 years. I offer him 4 years. Next day, he rejects.

* I immediately offer him 3 years (simply by removing the 4th year from the contract extension offer), and I submit. Next day, he accepts.

Bug behavior: On the team salary screen, all 4 years of salary are shown, as if he had accepted the first offer. The player profile screen, though, shows only the 3 years he actually accepted.

I play game years very slowly, so I don't yet know if, when I get to the final year, the last year of the contract will take effect or not.

Can others confirm this behavior?

Best regards,
JimGalaxy

Could it be because the team salary page shows the current year and the next 3 years and the player profile only show's the actual terms of the extension under the contract extension info section?

That's possible ... but even if so, the player rejected the 4 year offer, and then (next day) only accepted 3 years. So the 4th year should never show up at all, anywhere. I'd like to see if others can duplicate this seeming bug. Thanks!

I could be wrong, but it sounds similar to this from the beta1 fixes:

3504 Mystery salaries for future unsigned years showing in reports

Just FWIW.

Okay, thanks. I have merged the two into TT 3504, which has been verified fixed for the next patch.
