Don't understand L.Anderson's guide to Historical Replay

On the very first page, his database shows C:\Stats2. Where is he getting that database from, or is he just creating this for game purposes? The only one I have is the Master.csv database which obviously is for real historical games.

I believe that refers to the location of the database.

I believe that would be the folder he unzipped the Lahman database to.

That is correct, the stats2 contains the lahman database.
