Player showing up in pitcher stats

When I was substituting in a game. I accidentally dropped a catcher in the pitcher's spot on the right of the screen, (I wish there was a confirm button, I took my pitcher out earlier than I wanted and didnt get to sub the catcher in after all) he never threw a pitch, but is showing up in pitcher stats. Is there a way to remove him from that?

I Think there are 2 ways to solve your problem...

1. The quick & dirty way: create a filter that only allows for pitchers.

2. The preferred way: someone posted a while back to edit the player.
If you look in his position ratings, you should see a rating for pitcher -
even though he never threw a pitch. Delete this number, and you should
be ok.

Change his fielding experience at pitcher to 0.
