World Series not scheduled

I just finished the regular season, a historical league in career mode. I manually created the schedule and it worked fine until now. However, the World Series should be on the schedule, but it's not. Is there anyway to generate the World Series?

In the league setup, it shows a World Series playoff between the two leagues.

What caused this to happen?

Is there anyway to get the computer back in synch so it will play the World Series and then go to the next season?

In the "edit schedule" screen, it has the league's last date listed showing the games scheduled that day. These games have already been played. If I delete this day of games, will this get me back on track?

I'm not sure about this since you created the schedule, but that may have something to do with this. Maybe another "historical" players can shed some light here. In other words, you may have to create that schedule too but I am not sure.

I solved it. On the "league setup" screen, I selected "edit schedule" and deleted the last day of the schedule. It had already been played. This got the game back in synch schedule-wise and it scheduled the World Series.

so to make a world series schedule in this game in career mode we have to do it manually? or is there a way that after the regular season it goes right into playoffs cause I can't find it. I just bought this game so someone please help.

gerg,
if you have two leagues (like an AL and NL) in your league, it should go straight to the playoffs after the regular season. if not, please start a seperate thread with your problem with as much information you can share.
